What People's Say About Place

We really loved this restaurant. We stuck to our favorites, Eggs Benedict and Western Omlette. No wait for seating, plenty of parking. Quick greet and drink service. Gave us time to look over the menu. Once ordered, we received our food quick, too. Good value for the amount of food. We don't live in the area, but look forward to trying something new when we are next in town.

came on a Sunday with a party of nine in early November. We’re all from out of town. I love the bright decor; we took advantage of a family photo op, as they have a pretty cool mural on the wall at the entrance. We had an 11 o'clock reservation and seated promptly. Our server was Andreona. She is the prototype for amazing customer service! Another person helped her with our table, as needed (she seemed like a lead/supervisor). She was also wonderful. I love brunch and I’d consider myself a bit of a waffle and bacon snob .. (IYKYK). I ordered the banana custard pie waffle, bacon and grits. I’d definitely order the exact same again … and again. Excellent! No complaints at the table, at all. Happily recommend!!

We we stopping by on our way to Destin Florida. I ordered the brisket tacos after the waitress informed us that the pancakes or the waffle did not come as a combo with breakfast meats and your choice of eggs. We were slightly disappointed. The tacos with the hashbrown casserole. Both were delicious. The casserole was very cheesy, yum. My guy ordered the spinach and Mushroom omelet. He was kinda disappointed because it didn't have enough seasoning added to the eggs and the biscuit wasn't as fluffy as he thought it should have been. That is why I gave the food 4 stars. The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. We made sure we gave her a generous tip. We will revisit and recommend this restaurant to friends and family who would be traveling. The only real complaint I have is it would be nice if the staff would consider a Pancake combo and a waffle combo with breakfast meat choices and egg choices.

We were traveling through the area and decided on The Toasted Yolk Cafe for breakfast. I'm glad we did... Hailey was our waitress, and she was super fantastic! The food was absolutely some of the best breakfast food we have had! Super good people, very clean, and the food was prepared quickly. Must stop in and enjoy some yourself!

My son and I were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat today. We drove all the way around the circle and nothing sounded good, so we ended up back where we started and we decided to go to The Toasted Yolk. I had the Yolk Burger, a 1/2lbs USDA choice burger grilled to the way I liked it. It came with lettuce, tomato, red onion and I skipped the pickle and added cheese and bacon. My meal came with seasoned fries that were oh so savory and delicious. My son got the grilled chicken sandwich which was a grilled and marinated chicken breast with 2 strips of bacon, swiss cheese and spicy mustard on a grilled rye bun and seasoned fries. He got ranch dip for his fries. He says the sandwich was outstandingly delicious. All our food was cooked the way we ordered it, the waitresses we dealt with were very friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend this place to get your grub on. They also serve speciality drinks if you like that kind of thing. AND here's the kicker, The Toasted Yolk has a PUP MENU. Take your pup here to the patio if he/she is friendly then you can take them there and order the pawtio treats like the tail wagger bowl, which has chicken, rice and kale. Or how about the belly rub scramble which has scrambled eggs sausage and kale or how about this puppy delight? The pup parfait which has bananas, blueberries and whipped cream. I need to bring dog here very soon. Go check out The Toasted Yolk Cafe with their unique brand of food.

We had the best experience at the restaurant today. The place was so clean, the food good, and ALL of the employees were kind. Tyler, was a wonderful host and Taylor, was the BEST server. On top of that, there is an excellent man sweeping and mopping H a smile on his face. He was doing a great job cleaning and genuinely seemed happy. If that wasn’t enough one of the servers restocking tables even stopped by to chat. This was by far the best experience I have had in a long time. I had my cousin visiting from out of town and this was a great first experience for her. Thank you Toasted Yolk, we will return. P.S. the food was good too.

My wife, dog Harley and I stopped by for breakfast on the "Dog Friendly" patio. My wife had the Southwestern bowl, I had the Breakfast Burrito and Harley had the Chicken Puppy bowl. We received top notch service from Dalton and crew. Served hot and was delicious. Our drinks (Carmel Macchiato and Bloody Mary) were hand made perfectly. The patio is a nice dining area and they have a doggy menu. Great spot for breakfast.

We just moved to Dothan and The Toasted Yolk was recommended to us by several people. I am glad to say the reputation of this restaurant is well deserved. The food was excellent, our server was very friendly and knew the menu very well. The food came out faster than I was expecting. Even though the place was busy our server was very attentive. The French Toast slices were massive and my wife said they tasted very good. I really enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich, adding just a little hot sauce to give it an extra kick. The fries were lightly seasoned and had a very nice flavor to them. Nice selection of cocktails and beer. Overall very pleased with our visit and will definitely be back again.
